About the Department:

The Department of Master of Computer Applications (MCA) was established in the year 2009 with an in take objective of imparting quality Education in the field of Computer Science. With rapidly evolving Technology and with the objective to progress core competence in Computer Science to prepare the Students in terms of carrying out Development work, as well as to take up challenges in Research, the university and AICTE have changed the program duration from 3 years to 2 years from the academic year 2020-21.

About the Program:

CSE is an enthralling and unique innovative subject that encourages students to pursue creativity and technology. The course covers a wide range of subjects such as Python, Android Application Development, Internet of Things(IoT), Cloud Computing.

Program Scope:

Exhibit design and Programming skills to build and automate business solutions using cutting-edge Technologies.

Strong theoretical foundation leading to excellence and excitement towards research, to provide elegant solutions to complex problems.

Career Scope:

  • MCA include specialized profiles in software development, hardware technology, systems development, Engineering, Troubleshooting, Management Information system, Internet, and Networking.

Program Outcomes(POs)

An ability to independently carry out Research/investigation and development work to solve practical problems

An ability to write and present a Substantial Technical Report/Document

Students should be able to demonstrate a Degree of Mastery over the area as per the Specialization of the program. The mastery should be at a level higher than the requirements in the appropriate bachelor’s program

Able to select suitable Data models, appropriate Architecture and platform to implement a system with Good performance.

Able to Design and Integrate various system based Components to provide users with Interactive solutions for various Challenges

Able to develop Applications for Real-time Environments using existing and upcoming Technologies
