Library

The college has a well-stocked library with more than 42,000 volumes of books on various Engineering disciplines and Humanities & Science. Our library has had a continuous subscription to Del-net membership since 2003 and for that high configuration systems were allotted. Also, we are subscribing to IEEE journals. Now the library has been changed an e-library and it is functioning 12 x 7.

Computer Facilities

The college has around 700 computers with an internet connection. College is providing 24-hour internet facility to the students through BSNL leased line with a speed of 150Mbps using optical fibre cables. Additionally, a Centralized Computer Center is provided for the student’s usage which is open from 8 A.M. – 8 P.M.

The College hostels are convenient and comfortable with spacious rooms and ample storage. Internet access helps students to access online educational resources. Each hostel building is designed with its own kitchen, dining hall, reading room, television and telephone facilities.

There are separate hostels for boys and girls.

The joys and benefits of experiential learning can never be overlooked. The college has a wide range of co-curricular activities and competitions representing interdisciplinary approaches to learning. The carefully selected activities focus on the entire gamut of the development of learners in a cohesive manner. Every space inside and outside the college, then, becomes a platform where multifold learning experiences can be garnered to support learning in all directions.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Our challenge as educators lies in not simply giving information to our students but teaching them how to use it. Education that fosters creativity promotes critical thinking and develops communication skills is the need of the hour. RED RIBBON CLUB (RRC) and YOUTH RED CROSS SOCIETY (YRC) units are functioning effectively. Thus, a wide array of functions and programmes are regularly organized.
